Carpit Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed and how AdMob, Analytics, and crash tracking are used.

Carpit is a mobile app that helps vehicle owners track maintenance, expenses, insurance, and inspection tasks. We care about protecting your personal data and being clear about how it is used.

This policy explains what information may be processed when you use the Carpit mobile app and related web pages, why we process it, and which service providers may be involved in a limited operational capacity.

1. Data We Collect

  • Contact details such as your email address for account access and support workflows.
  • Vehicle-related information entered by you, including make/model, plate number, mileage, maintenance records, insurance, and inspection details.
  • Technical data related to device, operating system, session activity, and error logs used to monitor performance and stability.
  • Aggregated or anonymized analytics data used to understand product usage and improve features.

2. Why We Process Data

  • To deliver core app functionality such as reminders, vehicle records, and account management.
  • To detect app issues, analyze crashes, and improve service reliability.
  • To measure product experience, understand which features are useful, and guide service improvements.
  • To meet legal obligations and support security and abuse-prevention processes.

3. Google AdMob, Analytics, and Crash Tracking

Google AdMob may be used in the app to display advertisements. Its use is limited to serving ads inside the app.

Google Analytics/Firebase Analytics and crash tracking tools are used only to support app functionality, measure performance, identify errors and crashes, and improve service quality.

These tools are not used for Google Ads audience targeting, user profiling, or ad campaign optimization.

4. Who We May Share Data With

Your data may be processed only by the technical infrastructure and service providers we need to run Carpit. This can include hosting, email delivery, error monitoring, analytics, and ad serving providers.

We do not sell or license your personal data to third parties for ad targeting beyond the service purposes described in this policy.

5. Retention and Security

Your data is protected through reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls, secure infrastructure choices, and standard protective measures.

However, no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.
